"Grandpa Jack – Integrative Therapeutic Center" is a non-profit organization that runs a therapy-farm at "Ein Yael", on the outskirts of Jerusalem. The farm offers services such as therapeutic horseback riding, a horseback-riding school, animal-assisted therapy, and parents-counseling. The farm also has a unique youth program for young adults that dropped out of educational or therapeutic frameworks and for youth at risk.

The farm offers therapy to children and youth who cope with physical, behavioral or emotional difficulties such as: ADD/ADHD, autism, PDD, CP, head injuries, Down syndrome, blindness, deafness, retardation, mental illnesses, anxieties, social problems and many other problems. Horseback-riding therapy or animal-assisted therapy can be helpful in dealing with these kinds of difficulties.

Our organization is unique in subsidizing therapy to disadvantaged populations from institutions and low-income families. Without our organization these populations would not be able to benefit from these kinds of therapies.

Every week hundreds of clients and riders come to the farm: children, youth and adults. Some of them come privately and some come throught health insurance, the special-education system, and from therapeutic institutions in Jerusalem and its surroundings.

The multi-disciplinary farm staff consists of paid staff (including horseback riding instructors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers etc.), National Service staff and tens of volunteers.

We welcome you to learn about our activities through our website. Please feel free to contact us for additional information and to arrange a meeting or a visit to the farm.
